Yoga and Meditation:    

Group Meditation & Intuitive Development Circle:  This series will assist those who are seeking more answers, peace and clarity.  Learn how to explore your hidden gifts.  You have the power within - learn how to use it.   ($25.00 per session each session is 1 to 1.5 hours in length)

Current series:

Meditation with Karen: ($20.00 per class includes enjoying a herbal tea and take home crystal)  Each Thursday evening: 1 to 1.5 hours long (No class week of March 7)

 Mediation focus will be to clear mind, heal the body and raise your energetic vibration. The next series will be 7 sessions. *Crystal therapy will be apart of each session. 

Chakra alignment - starting with Root.  Commencing  Feb 25th.  Require a minimum of 3 to hold this class - there is no limit to participants.  We sit in chairs in a sacred circle with candles and crystals.  This is to ensure that everyone, no matter what level they are at can be comfortable to explore this divine healing process.  

*Crystal Therapy:  Heals Holistically

 

They have been used for millennia to heal and bring balance. They work thought resonance and vibration.....  Crystals contain minerals that are known for their therapeutic properties.  They are piezoelectric which means that electricity and sometimes light is produced by compression.  This divine property is harnessed in ultrasound machines which use piezoelectric crystals to produce a sound wave.  We can also use this power to heal our 'whole' selves just by using them and creating intension with them.  They are our friends. 

 

Shamans and crystal healers of old were familiar with this ability of crystals to focus sound and light vibrations into a concentrated ray, which was applied to healing.

 

Use crystals for healing, energizing or calming.  There are crystals that will both sedate and overactive organ and stimulate a sluggish one and also elevate pain.  Crystals work on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of being.  They realign subtle energies and dissolve dis-ease, getting to the root cause.  They work through vibration; rebalancing and bio-magnetic sheath that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body and activating linkage points to the chakras that regulate the body’s vibrational stasis by brining the chakras back into balance, many states of physical and psychological dis-ease can be dissipated. 

 

Crystals have been connected with particular parts of the body and its organs for thousands of years.  Many of the connections com from traditional astrology, both western and eastern traditional Chinese medicine and Indian Ayureveda both over 5000 years old, still use in modern medical prescriptions crystals that appear in formulas in ancient texts.

 

 

Group Meditation & Intuitive Development Class Starts again Spring 2010 - 7pm Thurs evenings ($25.00 per session)

In our class this week (Session Three) we will be leading off from previous week and working on the feeling of opening the heart chakra for the first few minutes then jumping right into another method of self hypnosis (a visual journey)- How powerful this is!!  You will be guided into a powerful calm state.  Once you know the feel of being in a trance (when you leave here).  You can practice at home daily. This process has a freeing potential and is a goal-oriented approach to self-empowerment.  Self hypnosis uses a formulated goal stated in an affirmation style statement which can be used as a flexible blue-print for any desire that benefits you.

It’s an inner quest that focuses on your stated goal and unleashes resources required to achieve it.  Once your resources are unleashed and activated you are on your way to complete success. 

 

This process leads to effectiveness within your life.  There are a few techniques that you will be exposed to and asked to practice over the weeks.  You may alter this process and use a bit of each process to formulate what works best for you.  You will know and feel right and is effective for YOU.

What is yoga: A traditional Hindu discipline aimed at achieving a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility. In the West, the term is most commonly understood as the physical exercises that are practiced as part of this discipline.

A series of mental, spiritual and physical exercises designed to aid in enlightenment. The exercise component of Yoga is often practiced in the West as an aid to healthy living

Meditation - the act relaxing the body and focusing one's mind on a specific target or goal.

Meditation as a form of alternative medicine brings about mental calmness and physical relaxation by suspending the stream of thoughts that normally occupy the mind. Generally performed once or twice a day for approximately 20 minutes at a time, meditation is used to reduce stress, alter hormone levels, and elevate one's mood.

Karen Fiorucci is a certified Hatha yoga instructor trained in hatha flow, older bodies, and kids yoga with a personal practice of yoga for over 15 years.  Her desire is to help and assist others in health, happiness and wholeness through education and training. Her unique approach is one of compassion and connection to Self.  She incorporates Reiki and Integrated Energy treatment and balancing with those who join her classes.

Her yoga instruction is clear with the focus on the breath and the way the asanas feel on an innate, sustained, and personal level. The atmosphere in each class is one of flow and deep release. Yang/Yin: Traditional hatha energy building yoga postures during the first half of the class leading into internally focused almost meditative yin yoga flow.

Hatha Yoga:  Use of traditional postures with various progressions with meditation for beginner and intermediate practioners.

IET -Integrated Energy Yoga©:  A one of a kind class. A series of Hatha postures that create open lines for energy to flow and balance with a power IET® energy treatment.  Very detoxifying and claming .

This series focuses on balancing the whole self.  It helps start or develop, expand and deepen your current meditation practice by learning and sampling various simple techniques

Compassionate Awareness Meditation Series© guides us to expose our natural and true state of harmony, clarity, and peace.  Each class will focus on one aspect of meditation as we build our practice and comfort from week to week.

Breathe work; relaxing the body; Witnessing thoughts, sensations, and emotions; allowing everything to be as it is, letting go of control; Healing the body through being present and paying attention; igniting the law of attraction through intention setting and affirmations.  Learning what your intuitive gilfts are and more!
